Wildlife
Saunders Island offers unique up-close opportunities to see diverse wildlife. Depending on when you visit, you have the opportunity of seeing up to 5 species of penguins, at least 4 species of birds-of-prey, and a variety of marine mammals, songbirds, seabirds (including Black-browed Albatross), and sea life. Please visit the Falklands Conservation website to learn more about the wildlife in the Falklands. Below are just some of the wildlife you could find on Saunders Island (click the photos to enlarge).
